I'm starting to hate farewell parties

The girlies met up once again at Holland V. This time round, we gathered to send Xavier off. He is enlisting on 11/9 and this gathering is specially arranged for him.


We decided to settle ourselves at settler's cafe since they have some promotions about ladies' night. I think it's quite worth the money lar.. 6 bucks for free flow of pokka green tea and the games we get to choose to play till their closing which is at 10pm and an addition of 6 bucks for the dinner set which you can either choose chicken cuttle, chicken chop or fish n chips. So in total, most of us only paid 13 bucks including GST.


Since Jos left for australia, there's one lesser camera to go around. And thus joys' PINK sony T20 has the honour to capture all our fun moments for that night.


Xavier was the latest to arrive on that day but since he's the star for that gathering, we girls graciously forgave him. And see the blue rose and that jar of cookies beside him? Those were his farewell gifts that we had prepared with love.


Ignore joys in this picture. I just want to show a picture of the free flow of green tea we had in those kid size ikea cups. I think we refilled 4 jars of it during our 2 hours plus stay there.



Since we had to wait for our dinner to arrive, we decided to play this game: You must be an idiot. The waitress there was nice enough to explain this game to us, having to raise her voice as the background was way too noisy. And all of us had a good laugh playing this game cause MJ the bimbo, answers pink for her question. Haha.. so most of us voted her as the idiot while 2 others voted joys as an idiot.. #%*@@!!!


Here comes our dinner. The portion is quite pathetic as I have mentioned.

So after dinner, we switched to other games. We were all so engrossed in those games that we didn't bother taking much pictures. We played this animal game whereby we have to make animals' sounds like 'oink oink', 'ring ring', 'kokoko' and 'Sssss'. ZR and eileen are very good at making animal sounds, trust me and thus they were the winners for it. Then we switched to this other game call 'Sandwitch', it works just like snap. Xavier and joys were all quite good at this. Shows that they both react rather fast.



We all have rather short attention span for games so we kept wanting to change games. The final game we played was this. I can't remember what it's called but it a balance game like uno stacko. When it's our turn, we have to choose a brick to take off and still ensure that this structure is balance. Our dear joys totally suck at this. She was rather daring to take off bricks but it always collapses in her hands. Guess what, one of the bricks fall into her bag without her knowing and she happily brought it home. She only realised it when she was packing her bag for school. Haha.. it's the black brick on the front extreme left of this picture.

So here's some other pictures we took before leaving. Each of us had a picture with xavier and this collage is specially for him since he appeared in every picture. Joys and sharon almost kissed him too.. haha.. and notice MJ's tummy, it's growing!

Here's the group photo. Eillen was there but not in the picture cause she was busy on the phone with her boy. As usual. And the settler's waitress who helped us with these pictures is really good at taking photos. I really like how the pictures turned out.
